a nite to remember

the date was 05/08/05. the very important date....not becos of any gate opening...but important to TPJCO... it's the long waited Koncert at VCH. the JC2s were all excited abt their last public performance..the Jc1,on the other hand excited abt representing tpjco 4 their 1st concert. We had prepared 3 songs for the audience....band had 8...though it was bid difference, i believe we won lose out a lot. Those got experience in performing one dun feel scared and excited...although i got experienced...but i cannot help to figit ard....i'm v scared cos its my first time conducting. just before entering the stage and when all my friends already on the stage waiting to start..i was still at the backstage listening to Mr Wong's advice. many band members came up to mi and pat mi and say good luck...the student conductor of band oso say i looked perfect and gave mi some last minute touch up....i'm touched....cos v few places the CO and band's relationship is so close de.. The MC started toking...i nodded to Li hui 4 her to signal the orchestra to stand...i walked forward....did the difficult bow....stood up the platform...ask the orchestra to sit....open my pu.........shit@! the Mc's still toking!!!!!! i walked up too quickly...i like a fool...den i looked backstage and saw Mr Wong giggling at mi....he good! i started the first song as soon as the MC retreat... ......1st song.......over.......2nd song.......woots! the audiences was so silent....dey liked the gong at the last part.....nice......3rd song.....big respond when the horse called......nice....it's over.... I went backstage...start recieving many smses....lots of JC2 hugs.....many happy grins...even some tears.. it's very nice. the principal was looking 4 mi...he told mi the performance was marvallous...she say we can go China...have face and name and reputation liao...great. SHe took photo with mi and LH...call us her son her daughter! kinda shocked..went back sch....beat and happy...went back home....sms till i doze off......it's unforgettable.
